In these three highlight videos you will see Champions Soccer School Coach Mark Calleja's Newport FC B00 and Newport FC B05 select teams in action. Mark Calleja was appointed head coach of these teams in July 2015 and took over the B05 team in June 2019. 

 

You will see moments in these videos where there are errors with the ball, defensive errors and poor technique. You will also see some great solutions too and some that lead to goals and some that get the team out of sticky situations. I want you to see the entire journey of the players in the game. The team is set up with a way of playing that will force them to use skills and tactics. Winning at this age is important but not at the expense of playing with the right philosophy. A philosophy that develops players skills and tactical understanding.
